Chinese New year was on February 3rd; but... Egypt was ablaze and the Chinese celebration went on minus a mention of it in this blog. Well, a bit late, but here it is: Anderson Cooper saying "Happy Year of the Rabbit" to ALL!
The "Year of the [Metal] Rabbit", fourth in the zodiac cycle according to Chinese astrology, was celebrated on February 3, 2011.
Also known as the "Chinese New Year", "Spring Festival", or "Lunar New Year", it is the longest and most important festivity which has been celebrated for thousands of years.
