The SPLC-certified hate group MassResistance has today published the below editorial on at least a dozen right-wing sites and blogs.

Welcome students. Today is the big day. Today is your chance to take a stand against the forces of bigotry and homophobia that unfairly targets our brothers, sisters and others in the gay, lesbian, transgendered, bisexual and gender optional community. By your very presence here, you signify your complete acceptance and approval of alternative lifestyles, sex on demand and the right of all to engage in whatever sexual practices feel good at the moment. You should be proud. And you may all now officially consider yourself enlightened. And empowered. I want to thank all of you for not bowing down to the fanatical and intolerant Christians who hate sex. I want to acknowledge your bravery, tolerance and dedication to the concept of gender neutrality and the right of every man, woman and others to choose whichever sexual orientation they prefer. Because this is a national day of silence, I'd like to suggest some excellent visual opportunities. I have several tubes of lipstick for any of you guys out there. Having you boys wear lipstick is a great way to banish the remaining stereotypes of manly men. For you gals, we have these cute buttons with pictures of manly women and effeminate men. (Yes, Henry, you can have both lipstick and a button.) I'd like to thank all of you for your support. I'd also like to stress that your participation in this momentous event is mandatory. We'd appreciate it if you didn't mention this to your parents. Believe it or not, some parents would object. I know, I know. But take heart in the fact that pretty soon they'll see the light. NAMBLA has a table right over there that offers lots of good information that should come in handy should you need to educate your parents.

In a top-of-site "breaking" story, this morning World Net Daily picks up Porno Pete LaBarbera's ridiculous and outrageous campaign against GLSEN. As I reported here on Sunday night, one of the 40,000 members of GLSEN's Day Of Silence page, probably an anti-gay activist, uploaded several photos advertising a gay hook-up site. Several screen shots later and...BINGO! There's your "proof" that GLSEN is pitching porn to school kids.

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth edited some of the images, placing blocks over strategic parts of the photographs, but they remained largely too revealing for inclusion in a news report. "If a conservative or religious group were as reckless as GLSEN in exposing impressionable children to hard-core perversion and pornography, needless to say they'd be out of business and drummed out of the pro-family movement," LaBarbera told WND. "It is a testament to how the liberal media protects irresponsible 'gay' activists that GLSEN continues to have a huge influence with educators despite its documented record of corrupting children – by exposing them directly to the worst excesses of the homosexual-bisexual-transgender movement," he said.

Linda Harvey of the SPLC-certified hate group, Mission America:

"It's not at all a surprise. GLSEN has a long history of recommending age-inappropriate and frankly promiscuous homosexual activity at young age for kids," she said. "Then they cover it with a civil rights, social justice and safe school veneer. This offensive page linked from the Day of Silence website page, also sponsored by GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, which indeed has a lot to hide. But thankfully, some technologically savvy pro-family warriors captured the original page in anticipation of this move."

Yesterday LaBarbera admitted to me on Twitter that the photos could have been uploaded by any of the tens of thousands members of the Facebook page, including himself, yet that little detail has not made it into any of the stories now rocketing around anti-gay Christianist hate sites such as World Net Daily.

In one of his most laughable accusations yet (and that's saying something), Porno Pete LaBarbara tonight breathlessly reports that photos advertising gay hook-up sites were posted to the Facebook page for GLSEN's Day Of Silence. Where children would see them.

A Facebook page affiliated with the Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network (GLSEN) — to support homosexual student clubs and GLSEN’s upcoming activist “Day of Silence” in schools nationwide (Friday, April 15) — was linked for several weeks to a pornographic “gay” hook-up website containing full-frontal nudity and personal ads expressing interest in dangerous homosexual practices including anal sodomy, “rimming” and various sadistic sex fetishes popular in the homosexual male subculture. The GLSEN ”Gay-Straight Alliances” Facebook page was also linked to a “Gay Trip Thailand” Facebook page with shirtless Thai males — luring men to that notorious sex-tourism destination — as well as a movie about two male lovers that is sponsored by a leading “gay” pornographic video distributor. When the salacious links were exposed April 11 by Mission America, a pro-family group, they were quickly removed from the GLSEN Facebook page.

LaBarbera's post goes on for another zillion words with many long-disproven accusations against GLSEN.

Of course, as anybody who's ever been on Facebook knows, any one of the 40,000 people who "liked" that GLSEN page could have uploaded those photos. Why, it could have even been repulsive anti-gay douchebags like, ta-DAH, Peter LaBarbera. Like the page, upload the photos, lurk for a bit hoping they aren't noticed, take a screenshot...and WHEE! Instant scandal!

Can you imagine the scandal if say, hundreds of salacious photos of ripped male hotties were to be mysteriously uploaded to Porno Pete's own completely ignored public Facebook page? Why, that would be TOTAL PROOF that he's a closet case! Oh, wait.

The Illinois Family Institute, an SPLC-certified Christian hate group, says that parents should yank their kids out of class on the Day of Silence rather than have them exposed to the message that it's wrong to beat up gay children.

GLSEN’s end game is the eradication of conservative moral beliefs and the creation of a social and political climate in which it is impossible to express them. Their cultural vehicle of choice for this radical social experiment is public education. What a strategic coup for homosexualists: use our money to capture the hearts and minds of our children. And we do virtually nothing. Our complacence makes us complicit in the damage done to our children and our culture. Moreover, we teach our children by example to be cowardly conformists. It’s time to resist, and there’s no easier way to resist than to call your children out of school on the Day of Silence. Parents and Guardians: Call your children’s middle and high schools and ask if students and/or teachers will be permitted to refuse to speak during class on Friday, April 15. If your administration allows students and/or teachers to refuse to speak during class, call your child out of school. Every student absence costs school districts money. When administrators refuse to listen to reason and when they allow the classroom to be exploited for political purposes, parents must take action. If they don’t, the politicization of the classroom and curricula will increase.

The "student walkout" has been endorsed by pretty much every hate group listed by the Southern Poverty Law Center, including the American Family Association, Concernstipated Women for America, MassResistance, and pedophile-enabler Scott Lively.

The Day Of Silence, GLSEN's annual anti-bullying campaign is April 15th. And Focus On The Family's Candi Cushman is ready for her first year running the PRO-bullying Christian response, which was handed over to them last year by Exodus International. FOF's Day Of Dialogue will take place on April 18th.

"The whole idea is to help embolden and encourage students to want to express their biblical viewpoint in a loving and grace-filled way, especially when controversial sexual topics are brought up in their school and they feel like maybe their viewpoint is being stifled. So this just gives them some tools for being able to be confident and loving in expressing their biblical viewpoint. The whole idea of silence seems more like a media opportunity -- but the idea of dialogue is that this is an actual learning opportunity for students and a free exchange of ideas among them."

Focus On The Family is offering cash prizes to anti-gay Christian students who make the best video about how it's totally right to bully, shame, and ostracize gay kids for their sexuality. In the loving name of Jesus Christ, of course.

British rugby star and passionate straight ally Ben Cohen is teaming up with gay and gay-friendly rugby clubs for a series of events called "Beer With Ben," which will raise money for GLSEN. The Advocate reports:

The Ben Cohen Acceptance Tour will visit Atlanta, New York, Seattle, and Washington, D.C., in May to raise awareness and funds, and encourage people to stand up against homophobia, bullying and standing up for equality, tolerance and mutual respect. The Acceptance Tour 2011 will aid the activities of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network.

The tour begins in the UK next month.

Pespi is giving away boatloads of money to organizations that have "great ideas" and today is the final day to vote for the Gay & Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN), who wants to place Safe Space kits in 10,000 public schools.
