What were they thinking: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wore terrible choices of outfits as they celebrated Father's Day in Miami, Florida with daughter Suri today


Most dads will be opening up gifts this Father's Day filled with unflattering
shirts, socks and and odd smelling after shave.

And it seems like Tom Cruise has already opened up bundle of terrible presents this year and decided to put them all on at once.

The 48-year-old actor and his wife Katie Holmes both looked like they pulled on the nearest thing to them without considering how they looked.

Tom looked like the father who tries way too hard to be cool and fails miserably.

The family celebrated Father's Day in Miami, Florida where Tom is filming the Eighties theme musical Rock of Ages.

He paired a white shirt with a red and blue trim with khaki shorts. The Top Gun star then put on bright white sneakers with white socks and paired the whole ensemble with a fedora hat.

Katie did not fair much better and despite the scorching Florida heat decided to wear a long sleeved striped sweater dress and sandals - obviously getting her seasons mixed up.

She carried Suri in her arms, as always, to the luxury yacht which they hopped on for their afternoon cruise.

After they boarded the yacht named Marquis, Katie and Suri sat on the deck while Tom kept cool inside as they sailed out to sea.

The couple have been the butt of break-up rumours pretty much from as soon as they got together six years ago.

But the loved up twosome showed that their relationship is stronger than ever and were very touchy feely at an event in Miami Beach last night.

Katie, 32, lovingly grabbed on to her husband of nearly five years from behind and Tom reciprocated and rested his hand over hers in a sweet gesture.

The couple turned up the Miami heat during a night out with the cast members from Rock of Ages including Julianne Hough and Malin Akerman.

They cosied up at Larios Cuban style bongo club and seemed to enjoy their date night in the Sunshine State.

She wore a black floral print halter dress which was cinched at the waist with a brown belt.

Tom looked like a cool dude in a black and white striped shirt and a white fedora hat with a black trim.

He had a big smile on his face with his lady love cuddled up near to him.

Obviously not fairing too badly from the night out, Katie was up bright and early this morning to see in Father's Day with Tom and their five-year-old daughter Suri.

She then ventured out for her usual ritual of getting her caffeine fix and did
not let the humid weather get in the way of her coffee run.

Having seemingly come from working out, Katie was dressed in blue leggings, a white top and had a large multi-coloured scarf thrown around her neck.

Yesterday Katie had a fun-filled day with Katie as they frolicked like any other mother and daughter at the beach.

It tells the story of a girl who arrives in Hollywood at the height of the 1980s
rock scene and also stars Russell Brand.

It's a very different role for Tom, and Katie has given her backing to the career departure for her husband by revealing that he likes to perform at their home.

'Tom is such an amazing performer. Yes, we have music in our house and it’s amazing,' she told Access Hollywood.

Most people take a summer dress to the beach with them to cover up when they've had enough sun for the day.

So either Suri Cruise is a very shy little girl or her mother Katie Holmes forgot to pack her swimsuit.

The little girl was snapped frolicking in the sea at Miami Beach with her mum fully-clothed in a multi-coloured dress.


Not that the five-year-old seemed to care that she was soaked to the skin and her dress was clinging to her as she splashed about with her mother.

Katie, on the other hand, was clad in more suitable beach wear in a burgundy bikini and pink short.

The pair looked like they were having a great time together as they played together in the surf.

Her mother is reported to encourage Suri's love of shoes, urging her favourite designers to make custom-heels for the gorgeous child.

'Even when she’s going to play dates or walking on the beach, she cries if Katie reaches for anything but a little pair of sandals with some sort of heel.'

'If they don't come with a heel, Katie has them redesigned for Suri. She commissioned a pair of Louboutins for her a while back!'

The insider added: 'Suri sometimes picks out the shoes her mum should wear, and then picks out shoes for her dad! They genuinely seem to value her opinion and want her to make her own decisions.'

It looks as if this time, little Suri has decided to jump in both feet first, to the delight of her proud mother.

Katie went casual for the outing slipping into some loose-fitting jeans, a white T-shirt with white shirt over the top.

Suri has been enjoying plenty of family time this week - on Monday she was spotted joining her mother and maternal grandparents at Urth Caffe in Beverly Hills.

While Suri's extravagant shoe collection is rumoured to be worth $150,000, sources this week told Just Jared that the figure is much less.

The fashionable little girl is no stranger to designer ensembles and is regularly spotted out and about holding expensive handbags and couture dresses.

Suri has also been voted fourth in Heat Magazine’s ‘cutest celebrity kids’ poll this week.

She was bet to the top spot by Cruz Beckham, six, as Willow Smith, 10, came in second, while Madonna’s 14-year-old daughter was voted the third cutest.

The wife of Tom Cruise was running errands in Hollywood when her silver locks were caught in the breeze.

Perhaps the former Dawson’s Creek actress has opted to age gracefully and has decided against colouring her hair.

Despite overlooking her hair regime the 32-year-old mother-of-one still looked casually chic in flared jeans and a loose white cotton T-shirt.

She accessorised with a bright orange handbag and aviator sunglasses as she strolled around with a smile on her face.

Katie has recently returned from Miami, where husband Tom Cruise has been filming his new flick Rock Of Ages.

The comedy/drama also stars Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin, Mary J Blige and Catherine Zeta-Jones and follows the life of a small-town girl who arrives in Hollywood at the height of the 1980s rock music scene.
Meanwhile, Katie has been preparing for her upcoming film Responsible Adults.

The romantic comedy will see her star alongside Chace Crawford, whose character realises that his crush (Holmes) was his babysitter 15 years ago.

With her hair in a slouchy top knot, the star wore a baggy grey sweatshirt and black leggings with a pair of trainers, ready for her workout.

The star fed the meter after parking her silver Mini Cooper car and at one point showed off her perfect posterior as she bent over the boot of her vehicle.

Now Solve is a fashion world institution. His portfolio consists of Dior, Gucci, Hermes, Yves Saint Laurent, Bally, and Armani. Fashion designer Tom Ford says, "Solve is a great talent in the fashion industry. His photographs speak for themselves. They are powerful, beautiful, always fresh, and I am lucky to have worked with him over the past decade." Even though it looks like Solve's photos are digitally altered, they're not; he uses old-fashioned techniques.




When it comes to photography nowadays Solve says, "Photography has become democratic – anyone with a digital camera can shoot something and alter it in Photoshop to make it look polished. For the past four or five years there's been a lot of dull, perfected work around, but there's an industry backlash going on now." Sorry Mr. Professional!!! What is crazy though, is that Solve Sundsbo's work is unlike anything I've seen in photography, and is truly a masterpiece in itself.
