Well, we went 2-1 yesterday and it figures that the one I get wrong is my alma mater. But we move on looking for a big day today.
Ohio State -12 vs Northwestern
Pick: OSU
I know its a lot of points in a Big Ten match up but you can't like that Northwestern is playing 2 games in less than 24 hours. Their tired legs will wear out in the second half, and the Buckeyes size will be too much to handle
Illinois -3 vs Michigan
Pick: Illinois
The Fighting Illini are the 3rd most talented roster in the Big Ten behind Ohio State and Purdue. But they have been the most inconsistent team as well. Michigan has two legitmate scorers, but if the Illini can limit their turnovers they should win by double digits.
Michigan St +7 vs Purdue
Pick: Michigan State
This is the best match up of the day. Both teams are athletic and long. Both teams are experienced. I expect this one to come down to the last few possessions. So I'll take the points. Plus I wanted to post that pic again. Deliciousness.
Penn State +7 vs Wisconsin
Pick: Wisconsin
I'll be honest, this is the pick I'm least sure about. Penn State has better guard play than most realize, and Wisconsin rarely blows teams out. But the Badgers are so much bigger in the front court that I have to pick them to cover this spread.
