My two cents:
This is so republican Stupid. The two parties are supposed to meet to work on the budget; but the republicans won't meet unless their proposed budget (which cuts services for the poor and seniors and also cuts taxes for the rich companies), they wont meet unless their proposal is accepted as is... IDIOTS! The meeting is to talk about it, but the republicans want their nefarious plan accepted even before the meeting takes place or they'll shut down the government for everybody (poor and seniors) but not for their own salaries. The republican politicians are real MORONS!!!
