There are people trying to conversatiate with you!

"Today’s politically correct America would have seemed like a paradise to the homosexual activists of a quarter-century ago but today’s activists have become frustrated with the pace of change. Since neither research, persuasion nor politics have been effective in implementing the full homosexual agenda, which seeks unqualified celebration and subsidization of homosexual conduct in every realm of society, some in the homosexual movement have turned to brute force, using censorship to trample on freedom of speech and freedom of religion. [snip]

Supporting the natural definition of marriage as the union of male and female (as 45 of the 50 states do) is not 'hate,' and supporting the personal freedom and autonomy of those who seek sexual orientation change 'demonizes' no one. There can be legitimate debate about these issues - but Apple, as one of the gatekeepers of today’s information technology, should be doing everything it can to facilitate that debate, not stifle it." - Family Research Council spokesbigot Peter Sprigg, once again riding the waambulance in the Moonie Times.

RELATED: For their part, the Moonie Times illustrates the above-linked story with a rainbow-colored Apple infested with worms.

"People are only allowed to think like Apple thinks they should think."

The Family Research Council is seizing upon the media furor about Exodus International's iPhone app in order to launch a new fundraising campaign. Because Christians are being silenced. Again! From today's FRC email blast:

A story in the news this week proves once again what we've been saying for years. Liberals want to silence pro-family conservatives like you and me. In a stunning decision, Apple withered under pressure from homosexual activists and censored an application that offers help to people struggling with homosexuality. The app for ex-gays was created by Exodus International--and before this week, it had a 4+ rating from the iTunes store. Exodus is another victim of the growing campaign to silence Christianity in America. As a reader of my emails, you know that the Southern Poverty Law Center falsely labeled FRC a "hate group" for standing for biblical norms regarding sexuality. Liberal activists use this label and demand that media outlets censor FRC staff and research.

We are honored to serve on these frontlines, but we need your help. Please help us stand for marriage and healthy human sexuality with your gift today.

Apple's censorship has nothing to do with "tolerance." This is about silencing anything and anyone who challenges homosexuality. Americans need to wake up and realize that religious liberty is heading in the same direction as Exodus's app-extinction! In this environment, it doesn't matter what the facts are. If they contradict the homosexual agenda, the Left will do everything it can to muzzle them. The radical Left demands that we hand over control of our nation, our families, our children, and our freedoms to them. They demand big government intervention in every area of life. They rewrite history to hide our Christian heritage. To all of this, Family Research Council says, "No Surrender!"
Those homofacists are also trying to close down Chick-Fil-A! Send more money! Right now!

The petition demanding that Apple remove Exodus International's "ex-gay" app now has over 135,000 signatures. Watch the below video in which Wayne Besen of Truth Wins Out blows the lid off the lies and hate group affiliations of Exodus.

Check out the screaming queen CBN announcer. And from the bio of Exodus spokesdick Jeff Buchanan: "Jeff has been a mentor to countless men seeking freedom from homosexuality." (Emphasis motherfucking mine.)

Truth Wins Out, the organization that fights the "ex-gay" movement, has launched a petition calling on Apple to remove Exodus International's new iPhone app.

This new iPhone app is the latest move in Exodus’ dangerous new strategy of targeting youth. In light of the recent wave of LGBT youth suicides, this tactic is particularly galling as it creates, legitimizes, and fuels the ostracism of LGBT youth by their families. According to a study published in the Journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, LGBT teens who experienced negative feedback from their family were 8 times more likely to have attempted suicide, 6 times as vulnerable to severe depression, and 3 times more likely to use drugs (Caitlin Ryan, San Francisco State University, June 2009). Apple doesn’t allow racist or anti-Semitic apps in its app store, yet it gives the green light to an app targeting vulnerable LGBT youth with the message that their sexual orientation is a “sin that will make your heart sick” and a “counterfeit.” This is a double standard that has the potential for devastating consequences. Apple needs to be told, loud and clear, that this is unacceptable. Stand with Truth Wins Out — demand that the iTunes store stop supporting homophobia and remove the Exodus app.

I wonder if it comes with a Grindr-like GPS function so they can find each other. To talk about Jeebus! And totally nothing else! Ex-Gay Watch has the app's description:

Exodus International is the world’s largest ministry to individuals and families impacted by homosexuality. With over 35 years of ministry experience, Exodus is committed to encouraging, educating and equipping the Body of Christ to address the issue of homosexuality with grace and truth.

Last week the Catholic Church launched a confession app for smart phones, leading some LGBT activists to denounce its makers as promoting anti-gay spiritual abuse. One portion of the app demands to know if the operator has been "guilty of any homosexual activity."

Wayne Besen, executive director of Truth Wins Out, a group that campaigns on behalf of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) people, accused the app of "helping to create neurotic individuals who are ashamed of who they are". "This is cyber spiritual abuse that promotes backward ideas in a modern package," said Besen. "Gay Catholics don't need to confess, they need to come out of the closet and challenge anti-gay dogma. The false idea that being gay is something to be ashamed of has destroyed too many lives. This iPhone app is facilitating and furthering the harm." Gay rights groups have become concerned at the use of technology to target minorities. Besen pointed to the Manhattan Declaration app, which was released last October on the back of a 5,000-word petition drawn up by several Christian groups, and opposed LGBT rights and gay marriage. A furore among liberal commentators prompted iTunes to pull the app from its store.
While the app costs $1.99, church officials say it does not mark a return to the selling of indulgences. Heh.

So says convicted Watergate felon Chuck Colson, who just won't let go of the fact that Apple won't allow his app calling for all Christians to disobey any law granting LGBT rights.

The Catholic Church has launched an official confession app for the iPhone. And unsurprisingly, absolution isn't free.

The program - called Confession - went on sale last week through iTunes for $1.99. Described as "the perfect aid for every penitent", it offers users tips and guidelines to help them with the sacrament. Now senior church officials in America have given it their seal of approval, in what is thought to be a first. The app takes users through the sacrament - in which Catholics admit their wrongdoings - and allows them to keep track of their sins. It also allows them to examine their conscience based on personalised factors such as age, sex and marital status - but it is not intended to replace traditional confession entirely. Instead, it encourages users to understand their actions and then visit their priest for absolution.
Say five Grindrs and go forth and sin no more.

It's a real thing. I guess, maybe, on a plane, it might be workable. Not entirely sure about the guy on the bike.

An Australian newspaper is breathlessly reporting that George Michael is spending his downtime in Sydney by cruising men on the iPhone app Scruff. And that's apparently news because he usually works it on Grindr.

Now a fixture on the Northern Beaches after arriving in town for New Year, the on-the-prowl performer has apparently joined Scruff, a new iPhone application marketed to "bears, furred, inked, uniformed, jocks, geeks and more". According to the app's description: "Meet hundreds of thousands of scruffy gay guys in your neighbourhood." The profile said to be Michael's is operating under the screen name "Sydney rocks". Like Grindr, which the swinging singer used during his extended Aussie jaunt last year, Scruff is location-based, using the iPhone's built-in GPS to instantly "connect" with other users in the same area.
And right now half of you are searching your iPhone for "Sydney Rocks."

UPDATE: The Perth Now says "huh uh," that's an impostor. So now two newspapers are finding this newsworthy.

Even though the iPhone app store boasts literally hundreds of Christianity-related items, Manhattan Declaration co-author and convicted Watergate felon Chuck Colson says his group will continue to battle Steve Jobs for "censoring Christians."

The release of long-believed to be mythical Verizon iPhone was announced today.
